Wolfstone Our fifth concert boasts a fantastic lineup of Scottish talent: folk-rockers Wolfstone will close the show in honour of their former bandmate; Gaelic singer Julie Fowlis makes a long-awaited return to Perth with her full band in tow; Capercaillie/Session A9 fiddler Charlie McKerron teams up with Gordon Duncan protégé Ross Ainslie on pipes and whistles, Tim Edey on guitar and melodeon and guitarist Marc Clement; one of the all-time great Highland pipers, Pipe Major Gordon Walker makes a rare Perthshire appearance; the brilliant mandolin and guitar duo Wingin' It will perform new music inspired by Gordon Duncan; and BBC Radio Scotland Young Traditional Musician 2011, Orcadian fiddler Kristan Harvey and the world-class Scottish Power Pipe Band complete a mouthwatering musical menu. |
